In 1999, the TSE and the influential U.S. index calculator Standard & Poors agreed to develop a joint S&P / TOPIX 150 index. Through this and other efforts, we are working together for the development of indexes that meet the needs of investors and the promotion.
The S&P/TOPIX 150 is an index composed of the 150 stocks with the highest liquidity in the first section weighted according to market capitalization. It covers approximately 70% of the market value of the Japanese equity market. It is an index aimed at products which are used by both domestic and international investors.
