Where can I find information about a company's performance?

Answer:

Each year listed companies are obliged to submit an Annual Securities Report to the Minister of Finance. These reports give an overview of the company, as well as information on its recent performance, and operating and financial condition. Unfortunately for foreign investors, these documents are all in Japanese.

If the company does not publish and English language Annual Report, digests of the relevant information can be found in the 'Japan Company Handbook' published by Toyo Keizai Inc.
