If I sell securities on the TSE market, will I have to physically bring the shares to TSE, or deliver them to the buyer?

Answer:

No. Most securities trading is settled using the Japan Securities Depository Center (JASDEC). JASDEC acts as registrar and custodian of most shares in Japan. Most transactions are settled by book-entry transfer between accounts. Your securities company will help you with any necessary arrangements.
