MAINS-Mail service is a daily e-mail transmission service delivering end of day data as set out below. Users may choose to subscribe to (1) and/or (2) and will automatically receive (3) and (4). Users may additionally subscribe to (5) for a separate fee, but may not subscribe to (5) alone.

Contents

  • (1) Cash Market Data
    Open/high/low/close prices, trading volume, trading value, and VWAP data for TSE-listed equities, convertible bonds, bonds with warrants, and warrants. (Off-hour transaction data is not included.)

  • (2) Derivative Contracts Data
    Open/high/low/close prices, trading volume, and settlement prices for index futures, index options, JGB futures and options on JGB futures.

  • (3) Indices Data
    Open/high/low/close data for the following indices:
    TOPIX, Banks Stock Price Index, Electronic Appliances Stock Price Index, Transportation Equipment Stock Price Index, TOPIX Core 30, TOPIX Large 70, TOPIX Mid 400, TOPIX 500, TOPIX Small.

  • (4) Market Segment Statistics
    Total trading volume and value for the 1st and 2nd sections. (Not including off-hour transactions.)

  • (5) Securities Identification Data
    Securities identification codes, company names in English, and sector classification codes.

Transmission

CSV files will be sent to designated e-mail addresses at around 4 p.m. on a daily basis. Copies of these transmissions will be sent to the back-up accounts opened for subscribers by TSE. Subscribers must have internet access in order to use this service.

Restrictions

  • Re-transmission of data by the subscriber's end-users is prohibited.
  • Please contact us directly for details of other restrictions and compliance issues, such as on the display of data on public websites.

Application

Please contact us directly to receive an application package (application form, agreement, user manual, file specification).

Fees

Fees for this service depend on the intended purpose of the data. The System Usage Fee shall be the sum of the following three items: (1) contract fee, (2) usage classification fee and (3) others. Japanese consumption tax will be added for domestic users.


Contract fee: 100,000 yen/month
Usage classification fee total of following items:
(a)
Internal usage fee 40,000 yen/month
(b)
Re-distribution fee 100,000 yen/month*
(c)
Others (securities identification data)
 
(i)
monthly updates 10,000 yen/month
(ii)
one-time update 50,000 yen/file
*For either equities (stocks & CBs) or derivatives data alone the fee is reduced to 50,000 yen.
*An additional network distribution fee of 100,000 yen/month will be charged if the data is used for a non-membership, publicly accessible online service (free WWW site, etc).

Payment

TSE will send subscribers an invoice by airmail on or around the 6th of every month. Payments should be remitted in Japanese yen to the TSE bank account shown on the invoice by the end of the month.


Please note: -Subscribers are responsible for all bank charges/commissions.
  -TSE does not issue receipts, so please keep all bank receipts/documents for your records.
