Scheduled Implementation Date of Abolishment of T+4 Settlement and Trading Suspension for a Predetermined Period

With regards to the abolishment of T+4 settlement and trading suspension for a predetermined period due for implementation in November this year, we hereby notify that the scheduled implementation date shall be Monday, November 16, 2009*, after due consideration of record dates in the said month and comments from parties involved in business operations.
(*) Details are as follows.
(Abolishment of T+4 Settlement)
▪In the case of implementation on November 16, T+4 settlement will be abolished for transactions with a record date on or after November 19.
(Abolishment of Trading Suspension for a Predetermined Period)
▪In the case of implementation on November 16, the trading suspension for a predetermined period will be abolished for transactions with a record date on or after November 19.
▪Trading suspensions for a predetermined period which commence before November 16 shall remain effective. (In other words there may be some cases where the trading suspension remains effective till November 18.)
